America’s Next Top Model Gone: Spoiled Natalie

The remaining 6 girls head to Brazil, where once they landed had to go straight to their next challenge. There the models head to a botanical garden where they have to team up into 2’s and have their own version of “The Amazing Race”. The 3 teams were Fo and Natalie, Allison and Celia, Aminat and Teyona. They all get into seperate cabs where they head to a flower shop and get the next clue. Fo and Natalie get there first, they are handed a bouquet of flowers and a map. The next team to arrive was Aminat and Teyona, 3rd was Allison and Celia. They all needed to go back to the botanical garden and find the designated spot. Lucky for Allison and Celia their taxicab driver knew a short cut and in the end Fo and Natalie came in first, Allison and Celia second, last but not least Aminat and Teyona. There the winners were handed the keys and told that their prize would be waiting for them at their new home.

Once there, the winners received a basket of flip flops by Havaianas, the cost of each flip flop? $500. The girls love the new place but Natalie talks down about everything and what she liked and disliked at the challenge.How she would rather have a pool in the apartment than a jacuzzi.  The other girls are getting tired of her and her complaints.

The next day the girls are taken to the streets to learn the martial art of Capoeira, that will be used in a photo shoot (2nd challenge. The winner would get an extra 25 frames but would have to choose a girl who would be having 25 frames take away from her. The winner was Fo and she took the frames from Teyona.

Carmen Miranda ( the Chakita girl) was the inspiration for the photo shoot. They all were dressed like the Chakita girl and the photos were being taken in a poor area. Allison shocked everyone by stepping up to the plate, while Fo (who had the extra frames) needed lots of help. Natalie was surprised and shocked at the conditions that they had to shot in (lets see, isnt that again complaining?)

At panel, Allison was picked first (finally the girl got a good pic!) and the bottom two was Natalie and Aminat. With Natalie being the sore loser. She was disappointed, didnt think she had the worse picture (hmm, maybe you didnt have the worse photo but you have been consistent on boring photos) and was confused on why she was going home. Oh well, no one will miss her trust me. What was worse watching other then her boring pictures? Having to listen to her boring personality. She needs to get one.

Next week is for the gentlemen….. bikinis!

ANTM Latest Can’t Be A Model: Tahlia

This weeks episode was a little boring. The remaining girls had a acting lesson with ANTM’s judge Paulina Porizkova. Paulina pulled the girls up in 2’s and gave them a line and an emotion, which they had to act out. At the end of the lesson the girls were handed a script and were told that they needed to memorize it for the next challenge. The next day, the girls were told that the challenge would include acting with American Idol Clay Aiken and the winner would get $5000.00 worth of John’s Jeans. The winner of the challenge was London, but due to the fact that she has been gaining weight, she gave her prize away.

Instead of a photo shoot, the girls found out that they needed to memorize another script for a Cover Girl commercial.  The models were broken into 2 groups of 4. 1st group up was Natalie, Fo, Tahlia, London. Each girl was given a chance to read the lead line, while the other 3 had 1 line and they would all join together in the end. Natalie did the best, Tahlia was the worst. The 2nd group included Allison,  Celia, Teyona, and Aminat. Same as the first group, each girl took turns reading the lead lines, best was Celia and the worst was Allison.

At judging, each girl was called up one by one and was shown their best take on the commercial. Celia was chosen as the best. The final two girls were Allison and Tahlia. Allison’s pictures and poses are always the same. The judges are wondering if that is all she can do. Tahlia, who the camera loves and takes great pictures, can not get pass being timid and held back her personality. She does admit that probably has to do with her scars, that she had gotten as a child. In the end, it was Tahlia who was asked to leave.

With that summary, there was a little b*t^hy fight between Natalie and the rest of the girls over cleaning and washing your own dishes. Someone called Natalie a b@t$h and she got offended and started on her “I’m rich, I’m sorry that I come from a better neighborhood” and so on. Everyone is tired of it, don’t think that she will get that far tho.

America’s Next Top Model: Sandra The Wanna Be Is Gone!

If you don’t know the show, it is about a bunch of wanna-be models that we all would never really think of as model material, trying to win a modeling contract with Cover Girl cosmetics and Elite Modeling. Tyra Banks along with her panel of judges go thru pictures (from a chosen topic photo shoot) of the girls and decide every week which one should be eliminated. Every season, there is at least one person in the bunch that knows she is “The One” and this season isn’t disappointing us. Her name is Sandra, and damn this bitch is annoying. She came in with the confidence (as most of them do) that she was going to win. There is just no one prettier or who wants it more then she does. As the show progressed, she started to fail (pictures were not up to par and she needed alot of input when it came to the photo shoots, nothing came natural to her) but would never admit that  in her one-on-one interviews. According to her she was perfect.  Anyone that has been watching this cycle wanted this “nobody” gone and we finally got our wish! There is nothing more enjoyable than to see someone that thinks they are the sh*t , to be eliminated because they aren’t sh*t.

In tonight’s episode, the remaining girls had a challenge where they had to stick their face in cut outs of previous pictures of Tyra Banks. The person that best expressed the emotion that Tyra had in the picture won. A girl named Natalie (she can be irritating… rich girl that never will have to work in her life, with the attitude of “Yes I’m pretty, rich and better than you”) won the challenge. She got an extra 50 frames in the next photo shoot. When it came to the photo shoot, all the girls where painted a different color and had to show the emotion of that color. Some nailed it, others were just there. In the end, the final two where Sandra and Celia. Celia last week, tattled on another model, Tahlia (who has burn scars from a accident that happened when she was a child)because Tahlia was “doubting” herself. Tonight, the judges did not appreciate that and choose that to be the reason she was in the bottom two (even tho, her pic was killer). Sandra, can not take a full frontal face picture. All her best pictures are done by 1/2-3/4 face positions. She also seem to be “fading” into the background compared to the other girls. With that said, Sandra (who has been in the bottom 2 before) was asked to leave. In her exit interview, she expressed that she was “pissed” and that she knew she was the best model in the group and that the judges made a huge mistake. Hmmmm…. the judges are already in the industry… you are only 19, a student, and want to be in the industry. Who’ s opinion would you take? Here’s a little hint: Sandra, less ego, take a good picture, and learn how to match your clothes. Maybe next time you can be a model for shoes, I hear Payless is looking for models. Just think, you wont have to show your face and Im sure your feet have more personality then you do. Clearly, you are the weakest link… goodbye!
