Oprah’s Sex Schools

Back when I was in school, we would sit in classes study different subjects. History, math, learn how to write a letter, and we would do these things with the help of a teacher. In Oprah’s school, it seems that their subjects and methods of teaching are slightly different.

The school that was constructed to help the young girls in South Africa has been hit a second time with sex abuse charges. The school has only been open for 2 years. The first “incident” happened back in 2007 , when 10 months after the opening of the school “Leadership Academy School For Girls, a matron, Virginia Tiny Makgobo, 27 ,was charged with sexual abuse. Ms. Makgobo, denies all charges. The second incident, sadly enough is against other classmates. The 7 students are charged with sexually harrassing  ( the words the press are using is “prey”, “bully” and “intimidate”) other students. Wonder what subject they learned that in or by who? According to Afrikaans on Sunday newspaper, letters have been sent home to the parents of these kids, that reads: “You have been found guilty of physical contact of a sexual nature with another pupil on campus, harassment, bullying other girls on campus and of being dishonest by not telling investigators the whole truth.”

Things like this, is a reason why people don’t want to help others any more. It just seems that when you try to do good for others, it bits you in the ass. How sad and disappointing it is for Oprah. She saw a need for something and instead of sitting on the couch talking about it, she actually did it. Maybe she should open a school for animals, at least they won’t embarrass her.
